box•ED [boks-d] noun

1. a new initiative from Christian Barque where he transports his passion and skills directly into your home

2.  box: take home personally selected ingredients and recipe boxes curated by Christian and transform your kitchen into a high-end restaurant for your special occasions (more menus TBA!)

 3. ED <abbreviation for education>: take your foodie love to a whole new level with a private dining service in your own home (groups 4-16); from menu conception to execution, this fun and interactive experience will definitely satisfy your pallet

e.g.: We “Box-ED” last night… It was soooo good!

Should we box (sic) this weekend?

When and where will the pick-up location be?

Boxes will be available for pick-up on Saturday February 11th between 10am and 2pm in downtown Cornwall. The location will be confirmed via email.

What’s in the box?

Pretty much everything necessary to cook your meal. Every ingredient is carefully selected and measured to ensure no waste and minimize clean-up. The only thing you will need are your fundamental kitchen essentials depending on the box you choose (salt, pepper, oil, EVOO, butter, sugar, pots, pans, etc.).

ABOUT CHRISTIAN

Christian Barque has been cooking for overs 20 years now and is currently the Executive Chef at the Hockey Academy. His previously ventures include Knox Fine Dining (Moose Creek), Fusion Grill (Cornwall), and Bar Q (Cornwall). He is a graduate of the Culinary program at Cambrian College. Recently he took home the top prize at the Iron Pan Competition during the Food Lover’s Field Day at Upper Canada Village and the first edition of Cornwall’s La Poutine Week (Poutine Of The Year).
