Participants for the 2015 Seaway Winter Food Festival Announced

4 new restaurants were added to the list of participating restaurants by festival Director Sebastien (Mani) Manigat

Cornwall, ONT, February 17, 2015: All six restaurants that participated in the first edition of the Seaway Summer Food Festival have confirmed their participation for this winter. Bar Q, Moustache Joe’s, Truffles, Eight Zero Zero, Schnitzels, and Casa Poalo, will be joined by new participants Table 21, Propeller, Sticks Sports Bar & Grill, and Maple Room Steakhouse. The SEAWAY WINTER FOOD FESTIVAL is a five day celebration of our communities vibrant culinary scene. The #SWFF is founded on the core principle of engaging consumers through a common shared experience. The #SWFF is a collective marketing initiative, held over 5 days from March 3rd to March 7th 2015, where these select restaurants will offer a specially designed 3-course menu for $22 or $28.

With a diverse daily menu created by Executive Chef Lucas McCabe, from the recent “CHOPPED CANADA” , the Propeller serves a healthy variety of whole foods and freshly cooked meals in the heart of NAV CENTRE.

Sticks Sports Bar & Grill and the Maple Room Steakhouse are staples of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino & Resort. Sticks isn’t your average sports bar. Boasting dishes unique to the North Country and with12 specialty beers on tap this lacrosse-themed sports bar is to place to be to watch the game. The Maple Room Steakhouse is a different kind of North Country steakhouse. Chef de Cuisine Anthony Warrior uses seasonal and locally harvested foods to reimagine steakhouse favorites. Chef Warrior also offers a weekly four-course tasting menu. When you’re in the mood to enjoy a special mouth-watering meal, make a date for the Maple Room Steakhouse.

Table 21 is the creation of couple Dominique Gilgen and Ahmad Mansorifard. This oyster and steak bar is situated above their other establishment Truffles Burger Bar. Described as classic, delicious, and rustic, Chef Ahmad produces ever-changing culinary treats with menus created every two-weeks.

The Director of the #SWFF is Sebastien (Mani) Manigat and the concept was created and conceived by BASTION Hospitality.
