Cornwall, ONT., May 29, 2015: Cornwall’s Inaugural Summer Beer Fest, presented by the Seaway Food Festival and NAV Centre, is proud to announce boom 101.9 (Corus Entertainment) as its official sponsor. Set to be held on July 11th, 2015 at the Jet Set Pub (NAV Centre), this craft beer festival’s aim is to celebrate our burgeoning Ontario brewing industry and our local culinary fare. This agreement underlines both parties willingness to actively engage residents in community building activities, while also supporting and promoting local (regional) businesses.
As the official sponsor, boom 101.9 will offer media support as well as feature Summer Beer Fest in their “Summer of 1000 Giveaways” when listeners will have an opportunity to win a Summer Beer Fest VIP Package. “This is a very significant arrangement for us, and we are very excited at the new opportunities this will unearth for us. This is the first media partnership for the Seaway Food Festival, and it reflects how much the community has been engaged in our events. With boom 101.9 we hope to be able to reach out to more foodies and beer lovers in our city,” said Sebastien Manigat, Director of the Seaway Food Festival.
Bill Halman, Brand Director and Morning Show Co-Host of boom 101.9 adds, “We’re excited to be a part of Summer Beer Fest! It will be a great event for the community and we’ll be encouraging Cornwall and SD&G to join us on the beautiful Jet Set Pub patio.”
Tickets for the Summer Beer Fest will go on sale starting June 1st, 2015 for $10. You can purchase them at the participating local establishments, NAV Centre, or on-line.
