Summer Beer Fest Wants You To Enjoy Responsibly – Do Not Drink and Drive!

Cornwall, ONT., June 2nd, 2015: As the Summer Beer Fest is fast approaching, we want to make every guest aware of the numerous options available to them in order to enjoy the festival responsibly. We are expecting over 1000 festivalgoers, and we encourage everyone to plan their day ahead. We have worked closely with the city, local businesses, and public safety officials to make sure we deliver the appropriate tools for our guests to enjoy their day and arrive home safely.

Cornwall Transit

Festival attendees will be allowed to use Cornwall Transit anywhere in Cornwall free of charge on July 11th, by presenting their Summer Beer Fest ticket. Bus #3 has as stop directly on the grounds of the NAV Centre. For more information visit the Cornwall Transit website or consult the Bus #3 schedule here.

Choice Taxi

Choice Taxi will have a dedicated taxi stand near the entrance of the Summer Beer Fest that will be monitored by the company. No need to remember a number or call. They are aware of the heavy traffic, and cars will be summoned accordingly.

“Take The Elevator Home”

Attendees can also take advantage of a special promotion from NAV Centre. Any festivalgoer can book a room for a discounted price of $85 the night of the festival. For more information visit www.navcentre.ca or call 613-936-5800 for more details.

“Obviously the safety of the community is of utmost importance. We want to ensure that every attendee knows they have numerous options that day to arrive home safely – and drunk driving is not one of them,” says organizer Sebastien Manigat.
